Alina and Andre travelled all the way from Chicago for their Wedding in Spain. Alina being of Russian heritage and Andre being of Spanish/Romanian heritage, meant that most of their wedding party would be travelling in from around the globe! I worked closely with Alina and Andre to assist them with finding their dream Wedding Venue. We spent a fun day out visiting some of the most beautiful Wedding Villas along the Costa Del Sol. Like many of our couples they settled on the first Venue we had seen. A beautiful Spanish Villa, nestled in to the Benahavis countryside.
The Wedding villa that Alina and Andre chose, is a traditional style white washed villa with stylish green painted windows and doors. The inside has a high quality luxurious feel to it and Spanish simplicity. The house has many beautiful terraces where they were able to enjoy the time between their wedding events. The vast lawn at the front of the house, allows all the space you could possibly need for your dream Wedding. The spectacular views and the natural beauty of the valley, provide a splendid back drop for your Wedding Day and the multitude of beautiful trees offers natural shade. Choosing this gorgeous villa was an easy decision for them as they wanted to be close to Puerto Banus, where most of their friends and family would be staying but also be able to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
We planned a two day wedding event for Alina and Andre, Sunday saw them welcome all of their guests with an informal Barbecue and on Monday we held their wedding day! As the Villa is a 7 day rental only, they had plenty of time to relax with their family and friends for a few days after all of the fun and activity of their wedding days. Alina and Andre wanted a wedding that was elegant and romantic, with soft feminine colours!
What Alina and Andre had to say :
When we decided to get married in Spain our friends & family said we were crazy. However, since our first consultation skype with Lucy we knew that we will be taken care of and that our wedding will be perfect. Truthfully, planning a wedding abroad is hard. Different time zone, different language, and different currency. Lucy made it so easy. I have to admit that we were not worried about a thing, as Lucy has so many ideas & plans, along with phenomenal taste, and a great amount of experience. All the vendors that she recommended were great – we really enjoyed working with every single one of them. Our wedding & welcome party were absolutely amazing! Better than we could ever imagine, and our parents & friends are still talking about it. We were so lucky to find Lucy & Jesus, thank you! PS: A lot of our friends are thinking about destination weddings, and we always suggest the south of Spain & Boutique Wedding Co.
